AOL Netfind International Directories - Search this database by keyword or country to find links to businesses worldwide. Keyword searches result in categories and direct hits. Each hit has an annotated description that helps save time. Search by phone book and name within a country.

AtHand - yellow pages. Search this e-phonebook by keyword or business name, city and state. The results give you contact information. If no information is found, you're allowed to browse all entries beginning with the keyword's first letter.

BigBook - GTE's yellow pages. You can search by business category or name within a city and state. The results don't yield as much as other sites, but they do provide a map to the location of the business.

BizLib Business information library.

BigYellow - The Bell Atlantic yellow pages for companies and businesses, allowing searches by category or business name within a state. The plus with this site is that you don't need to enter a city. Search results also provide maps.

Local Find - Find it locally! Whether you're looking for pizza or a new car this search engine points you to the nearest place to get it. You just enter in your zip code and the how number of miles. This plain blue site is a nothing fancy to look at but it works better than most yellow page directories. Does require that you know the zipcodeWorth a try!
